The Ohio Dominican University social work program satisfies the academic requirements for Social Worker licensure at the Bachelor鈥檚 degree level set forth by the State of Ohio. ODU graduates who complete the social work major are eligible to sit for the Ohio Licensed Social Worker (LSW) exam. Ohio social work licensure applicants must complete a background check. Detailed licensure information is available at the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Counselor Board website. A summary table containing the licensing requirements for practice in a state other than Ohio or in a U.S. territory can be accessed through the Association of Social Work Board鈥檚 social work regulation database.
