The application process for financial aid begins with the . The FAFSA is the only application you need to complete for ALL federal, state and ODU aid programs including loans, grants and scholarships.

If you haven't already, be sure to file your FAFSA to maximize your financial aid. Get started today at studentaid.gov. If you have questions or need help filing, please feel free to contact ODU’s Financial Aid Office.

The FAFSA opens for 2024-2025! File your FAFSA at . It is helpful to have a copy of your latest tax return when filling it out. IMPORTANT: When completing the FAFSA, make sure you list Ohio Dominican's school code: 003035.
February 15

Ohio Dominican will notify students of additional items needed to complete their financial
aid.
Important update to the 2024-2025 FAFSA (as of April 2, 2024)
ODU has begun receiving FAFSA information from the U.S. Department of Education (DOE)
following crucial updates to our campus software that were made available by the DOE.
It's important to note that there are still some issues with the information schools
are receiving, but don't worry, our Office of Financial Aid is working through those
issues as quickly as possible to ensure that the financial aid information that we
provide you with is as accurate as possible. We greatly appreciate your patience.
If you have not already, we recommend that you file your FAFSA as soon as possible

A special note for accepted students: We want to give you and your family time to receive and review your financial aid
package, so we have moved our Undergraduate Admission decision deadline back to June

Complete items needed to finish financial aid. Examples include master promissory
notes for loans, entrance counseling, verification paperwork, etc. You will be notified
by the Financial Aid Office on items that are needed.

Notify the Financial Aid Office if you are receiving any outside scholarships.
If you have never borrowed a Federal Stafford Loan before, you will need to complete before your loan is disbursed. This will give you all the information you need regarding your rights and responsibilities as a student loan borrower. You can do this online.
Also, if you are a new borrower who has not completed a you will need to do so to have your funds disbursed to your account.
No funds will be disbursed until the MPN has been completed. Don't forget that you must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours each semester in which you wish to borrow a Stafford loan.
